A Welcome From The Headmistress, Uppingham Cairo

Emma Webb

Uppingham Cairo opened in September 2024 as the first overseas school of Uppingham UK, one of the most distinguished and historic independent schools in the world. For the first time since 1584, there will be another Uppingham. Like their fellow Uppinghamians in the UK, our pupils will be inspired by the intellectual rigour of an academic curriculum that encourages exploration, critical analysis, calculated risk-taking, communication and teamwork. They will be encouraged to use their imagination, to think creatively, to explore the world around them, to be ambitious and to strive for academic excellence. They will become a team player, a leader and an innovator. They will learn how to think, not what to think.

Together, let us unlock their potential and inspire them to become lifelong learners and leaders of tomorrow.
